Shabtabnews – In a secret letter dated 17th April 2021, addressed to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, instructed the General Staff of the Armed Forces not to retaliate against Israeli military and security measures in Syria nor any action carried out by Israel against nuclear centres in Iran. The letter formally declares that there should be no provocative actions against Israel at the moment, and all future actions must be carried out in complete coordination with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In this letter, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, points out that the enemy is looking for an excuse to carry out even more destructive actions in Iran, on the eve of the presidential election. The letter stresses that the officials must even be very careful in their interviews, so as not to provoke the enemies of the revolution in any way, during this sensitive period.
Dorr TV sources state that Ali Khamenei, in his letter to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, strongly criticized the lack of security cooperation between the different sections of the Iranian regime, stating that “the unrestricted actions of the enemy within Iranian territory are to the detriment of the revolution, Islam and the people. Therefore, it is necessary for the security system to identify infiltrators, and hand them over to the judicial authorities as soon as possible.”
According to the same report: In this letter, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, also refers to cyberspace and the importance of controlling this space, and placed emphasis on stabilising the psychological condition of the revolutionary forces, and preventing counter-revolutionary abuse of cyberspace, like for example averting controversial comments of officials regarding recent events in the country.
In another part of the letter, the General Staff of the Armed Forces were asked to increase the level of its cooperation with the IRGC, and the Ministry of Intelligence, in order to prioritise the security of the system and the country, and prevent the successful espionage activities of the sworn enemies of the revolution, and those who are deceived by the enemy.
Dorr TV sources added in the report that the letter by Ali Khamenei, also referred to the ongoing talks in Vienna, stating that the country’s administration needs international interaction, and that if the executive decides to negotiate, the armed forces and security services are responsible for internal, external and psychological security of the people, in order to achieve the goals of the revolution.
In this letter, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic described the issue of the upcoming elections as the most important event of 2021 and ordered that domestic and international circumstances be arranged in such a way that public opinion readily and passionately supports the upcoming election. In this regard the Basiji forces were asked to further expand their activities in cyberspace, especially against the efforts and environment created by the enemies of the revolution.
The Supreme leader’s letter, is in response to April 12th 2021, surprise subversive operation at the Natanz nuclear power plant. Which was most likely “led by the Israeli security forces,” that resulted in a huge explosion at the Natanz nuclear power plant and seriously damaged the uranium enrichment facilities of the plant. Hours after the incident, the Jerusalem Post quoted the New York Times as saying:” The Natanz blast delayed uranium enrichment at the plant for at least nine months.”
