According to the the DPA news agency Tehran’s chief prosecutor Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi said that “A large number” of people who took part in a mass protest in Tehran’s Grand Bazaar this week have been arrested and will likely face trial.” He also added “A large number of the agitators, who had nothing to do with the bazaar traders, have been arrested,” Dolatabadi however provided no evidence for this claim.
