Iran-HRM – A former political prisoner from Oshnavieh, was killed under torture after being arrested and transferred to the Detention Center of Khoy’s city. Rahman Ghorbani was arrested on Saturday June 2, 2018 by the security forces of Iran and transferred to Khoy city’s Detention Center. According to an informed source, Ghorbani lost his life due to numerous electric baton strikes and heart failure during the torture. The body of this citizen, who was also a former political prisoner and held for fourteen years in the prisons of Shano (Shanwai) and Urmia, was given to his family after three days. Urmia’s legal practitioner has not given a specific answer to Ghorbani’s family after an autopsy.
