Baneh Intelligence Summoned Bazaar Shopkeepers On Strike

Iran-HRM – Baneh’s intelligence Department, summoned and threatened bazaar shopkeepers on strike, to end the recent Baneh strike. An informed source said: “Intelligence forces threatened the shopkeepers that they have to end their strike as soon as possible.”

Since Sunday April 10th Bazaar’s shopkeepers and other guilds in city of Baneh have gone on strike in protest to the closure of small bazaars along the border and to escalation in price of tariffs. It is about 24 days that they are on strike.

Today the strike of Baneh bazaar (northeast of Iran) turned into day 27th.

“The Iranian regime has mobilized its anti-riot forces throughout the city,” said an informed source, “On day 18th the internet didn’t work at all and only two internet lines, Shuttle and Mobin Net which are dedicated to government bureaus worked”. The source added: “the Internet is out of reach in all cell phones and all the citizens are deprived of internet”. Since Sunday, April 15th the bazaar of Baneh is on strike in protest to the closure of small bazaars along the border and a rise in tariff.
