CHRI – Vahid Sayyadi-Nasiri Was on Hunger Strike to Protest Denial of Counsel and Prison Conditions

CHRI – Iranian political prisoner Saeed Shirzad could lose a kidney if Iranian authorities continue to refuse to hospitalize him outside of Rajaee Shahr Prison where he has been held for the past three years, the Center for Human Rights in Iran (CHRI) has been informed.

Al-Monitor – The UN Security Council convened Dec. 12 to address the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). US Secretary of State Pompeo said that Iran’s pace of missile activities has not diminished since the JCPOA and that the United States seeks to reimpose ballistic missile restrictions that were outlined in UN Security Council Resolution 1929.
