Afghans Leave Iran as Economy Worsens

VOA – The Iranian economy has plunged even further since the United States pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal and re-imposed sanctions – and the fallout is affecting Iran’s war-torn neighbor, Afghanistan. This is because up to three million Afghan refugees live in Iran, most without legal documents, and many of them are now being forced to return to their strife-ridden country. VOA’s Ayesha Tanzeem reports.
