RFL/RE – A court in Iran has handed a death sentence — its second in three days — to a protester arrested during demonstrations sparked by the death of Mahsa Amini in September while she was being detained for allegedly improperly wearing a head scarf. “A revolutionary court sentenced to death another defendant accused of terrorizing people in the street using a bladed weapon, setting fire to the motorcycle of a citizen, and attacking a person with a knife,” the judiciary’s Mizan Online website reported late on November 15.
