Third U.S. Aircraft Carrier Enters CENTCOM Area as Trump Says He’s in No Rush

Iranwire – U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush has entered its area of operations in the Indian Ocean. According to CENTCOM, the Nimitz-class carrier has been deployed as part of the U.S. military presence in the region.

The U.S. fleet’s presence in CENTCOM’s area of responsibility is meant to support Operation “Epic Fury” and the naval blockade of Iranian ports. At present, the aircraft carriers USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Gerald R. Ford are stationed in the northern Arabian Sea and the Red Sea, respectively. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump rejected the idea that he is “under pressure to end the war,” saying that time is not on Iran’s side.

In a post on his social media platform, “Truth Social,” Trump again criticized outlets such as The New York Times and CNN, writing: “The Fake News (NYT, CNN, etc.) keep saying that I am ‘anxious and eager’ to end the War with Iran (if you even want to call it a War!). They are wrong! As someone in this position, I probably feel the least amount of pressure of anybody.”
