Iran’s Chief Justice Warns: Cooperation with “Enemy” Will Be Treated Under War Laws

Iranwire – Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, the Chief Justice of the Islamic Republic, warned Iranian citizens on Wednesday, March 4, saying: “Those who take steps in any way – whether verbally or through action – in line with the desires of America and Israel are on the enemy’s side and must be dealt with according to wartime principles.”

Speaking to the Mizan News Agency, which is affiliated with the judiciary, Mohseni-Ejei said: “We are working alongside the security defenders and the armed forces, and our seriousness has increased and reached a higher level. We are prioritizing the cases of rioters and unrest; individuals who cooperate with the enemy in any manner will be considered the enemy.”

When asked what specific behaviors constitute “cooperation with the enemy,” the head of the judicial system replied: “Any action that aligns with the enemy’s will.”

In recent days, the IRGC Intelligence Organization has issued statements and sent text messages to Iranian citizens, warning them against any form of protest against the Islamic Republic or expressing emotions over the deaths of Ali Khamenei and IRGC commanders.
