Iranwire – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has called Israeli airstrikes “barbaric aggression and open crime,” promising a “legitimate, decisive and powerful response.”
Pezeshkian said the strikes violated international law and proved “the Zionist regime is based on occupation, aggression and child-killing.”
He urged Iranians to ignore “enemy rumors and psychological warfare” and said the government would ensure no disruption to daily life.
The president said Iran would “decisively defend itself” while remaining ready for peace.
Israeli strikes killed Revolutionary Guards chief Hossein Salami, Armed Forces Chief Mohammad Bagheri and several other commanders.
