Iranwire – Akbar Danesh, a political activist from central Isfahan, has been sentenced to three years in prison by the city’s Revolutionary Court.

However, the prison term has been suspended for four years.
According to the court ruling, Danesh received a one-year sentence for “propaganda against the Islamic Republic” and a two-year sentence for “insulting the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic.”
The court also imposed additional penalties, including a ban on media activities, travel restrictions, and the confiscation of his mobile phone.
Danesh has previously been subject to security measures due to his civil and political activities.
