Iran’s Zarif: Any Saudi Arabian, US strike on Iran will result in ‘all out war’

Al-Arabia – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif said on Thursday that any US or Saudi military strike against his country would result in an “all out war.”

“I am making a very serious statement that we don’t want war; we don’t want to engage in a military confrontation … But we won’t blink to defend our territory,” Zarif told CNN.

Zarif said in an earlier tweet that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is trying “to dodge US obligation to issue visas for UN delegates.”

.@SecPompeo tries to dodge US obligation to issue visas for UN delegates by resorting to self-arrogated designations.

A history lesson, perhaps, for my novice counterpart:

Zarif added that US President Donald Trump’s administration and “ambitious allies” should pray that a war does not happen “for their own sake,” referring to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s statement calling the attacks on Saudi oil facilities an “act of war.”

In a tweet on his official account, Zarif said that Trump’s administration are “deceiving” him.

“Act of war”or AGITATION for WAR?

Remnants of #B_Team (+ambitious allies) try to deceive @realdonaldtrump into war.

For their own sake, they should pray that they won’t get what they seek.

They’re still paying for much smaller #Yemen war they were too arrogant to end 4yrs ago.1,31210:36 AM – Sep 19, 2019Twitter Ads info and privacy539 people are talking about thisLast Update: Thursday, 19 September 2019 KSA 13:55 – GMT 10:55
