Iran-HRM – Manouchehr Kokabi, a Gonabadi Dervish living in Tehran, was detained in his home by security forces on
March 4.
According to his family, there is still no news on his whereabouts and condition. Mr. Kokabi was injured by security forces during the Golestan Haftom protests on February 20.
During the Golestan Haftom protests, hundreds of Dervishes were beaten by security forces. A number of them were released in the first few hours and the next day and close to 500 Dervishes were taken to hospitals and various detention centers. There is still no information on the fate of a number of them.
