IOPHR – In a newly issued statement by the members of the Swedish Academy of Sciences, Amnesty International and Karolniska Institute addressed to the Iranian Ambassador in Sweden, the Iranian government is requested to quash the death sentence issued against Dr Djalali and to grant him an unconditional release.
In the attached letter also requests that Dr Djalai is provided with full access to his lawyer and that the Swedish Embassy in Iran is granted access and visitation rights.
